Park Na Rae Managers Revealed To Have Received Lavish Gifts From Her Amidst Mistreatment Allegations

Claims have been raised that the decisive factor behind the breakdown in the relationship between broadcaster Park Na Rae and her managers was unpaid and delayed wages.

On December 22, YouTuber Lee Jin Ho, famous for being an insider, addressed the issue in a video uploaded to his YouTube channel, drawing a line against the one-sided narrative of abuse of power.

“Was Park Na Rae purely malicious in mistreating them? That’s not entirely the case. Park Na Rae gave her managers performance bonuses and also separately gave them money during the Chuseok holiday. The managers themselves acknowledged this.”

Park even gifted her managers with lavish gifts.

“She even gifted them Chanel bags and Chanel watches. She treated them extremely well. Even just this alone would make her an exceptional person.”

However, he also emphasized that the managers made corresponding efforts in return.

“The managers also did their best. Because they received expensive gifts, they wanted to reciprocate accordingly, so they gave her Chanel shoes as gifts. They pooled their own salaries to send snack trucks and coffee trucks, and also gifted Dom Pérignon champagne. It’s said that wine glasses often broke whenever Narae Bar was held, and each wine glass reportedly cost around ₩200,000 KRW (about $135 USD). They gifted around ten of them. There were clearly good memories between them.”

That said, he pointed to financial issues as the decisive factor that ultimately damaged the relationship.

“The first issue was unpaid expenses. When cash is used, settlements are supposed to be made on payday each month, but these amounts were not settled. There were also cases of delayed wage payments. Was it because there was no money, leading to delayed wages? No. Park Na Rae is wealthy. The delays were not due to a lack of funds.”

He further claimed that when the managers raised concerns about this, Park Na Rae responded nonchalantly, ultimately creating much frustration.
