Park Na Rae’s Former Manager Makes Shocking New Claims Relating To “Injection Auntie” Controversy
Former manager of broadcaster Park Na Rae made additional claims in an interview, presenting new claims related to the so-called “injection auntie.”
In a recent episode of MBN’s News Fighter, the former manager appeared in person and revealed the actual medication packets that Park Na Rae allegedly received continuously from a figure known as the “injection auntie.” The former manager claimed that inside these packets were pink “butterfly-shaped pills,” which are also reportedly found in connection with YouTuber Short Mouth Sun.
A psychiatric specialist who appeared on the broadcast explained that these pills are “presumed to be phentermine,” a controlled substance that requires a doctor’s prescription. The specialist further explained, “While it suppresses appetite, overuse can cause side effects such as anxiety, insomnia, and palpitations,” adding, “Because it can have a stimulating effect, it carries a high risk of abuse.”
He also warned, “This medication is prohibited from being prescribed consecutively for more than 28 days, and repeated use outside medical institutions could lead to problems.”
The former manager asserted, “It seemed that Park Na Rae had developed a tolerance to the drug,” saying, “There were times when she took two packets before bed at once.” He testified that the medication packets given by the “injection auntie” were not in the usual “after breakfast, lunch, and dinner” format but divided by various times of day, allowing for intake at any time, which appeared to increase the risk of abuse.
He also raised doubts about the prescription process, saying, “When medications for two months were supplied, they were managed by being told to ‘contact when the medication runs out’ rather than following a fixed schedule.” In particular, he revealed that the “injection auntie” once said, “Short Mouth Sun also takes this medication four times a day.” However, this remains an unverified claim from the former manager.
Meanwhile, Short Mouth Sun, who faced allegations of receiving controlled substances from a person known as the “injection auntie” for diet purposes, denied the allegations, stating, “I have received swelling medication but have never received illegal prescriptions or intravenous treatments.”
The “injection auntie” controversy, which began with Park Na Rae, has spread to many celebrities including Short Mouth Sun and SHINee’s Key, stirring a scandal that has cast suspicion on illegal medical procedures across the entertainment industry.
